[News] 130715 FTISLAND successfully concludes their Japan arena tour

Band FTISLAND (Choi Jonghoon, Lee Hongki, Lee Jaejin, Choi Minhwan, Song Seunghyun) successfully completed their Japan arena tour.
According to their company FNC Entertainment, FTISLAND held their “FTISLAND Arena Tour 2013 – Freedom” from 15 June to 14 July, at Miyagi, Shizuoka, Nagoya, Osaka, Nagano, Tokyo and Saitama. Their tour attracted a total of 100,000 people.
The band received great response from the “club stage” at the tour. During this special segment, drummer Choi Minhwan came to the front stage and played the electronic drum, while Lee Jaejin and Song Seunghyun specially prepared raps, showing a new transformation of themselves. They also performed their new single “Theory of Happiness” even before its release.
FTISLAND performed a total of 24 songs at each concert, including members’ self-compositions like “Time To” (composed by Lee Jaejin), ” Hold My Hand” (composed by Choi Jonghoon) and hit songs like “Top Secret”, “Freedom”, “Neverland”, “Life” and many others. At the encore segment of the final concert in Saitama, they received a loud cheer from the audience with the song “Like Birds”.
FTISLAND members revealed, “This tour made us grew up a lot. We were able to hold such a gratifying concert tour, doing the things we wanted to do. Thank you to all our staff and fans.”
On the other hand, FTISLAND will release their 11th Japanese single “Theory of Happiness” on 24 July.
They will also be attending the Fuji TV Music Festival “Mezamashi Live” on 28 July, as the first Korean singers to attend this festival for consecutive 3 years.
